Job Description
We are seeking an IT Business Analyst who will collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather, document and analyze business requirements ensuring the successful delivery of initiatives. For a person to be successful in this role, they need to be highly motivated to learn new things, bring strong organizational and communication skills, and enjoy navigating complexity.
The successful candidate will analyze and solve complex problems, collaborate effectively with diverse teams on proposed solutions that address business challenges to drive business value. While the primary focus of the role will involve infrastructure and security projects, this is not a strict requirement. Experience with project management is a bonus and will be highly valued in this role. This position will report to the IT PMO Manager.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to gather/document business requirements and create a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
- Translate business needs into technical specifications for the IT team
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the project including business users, and technical teams. Provide regular updates on status and related key deliverables
- Work closely with technical teams to design and implement solutions that address business requirements while aligning with technical constraints and best practices
- Support project management to identify and assess risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize risk exposure
- Support IT initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in business, information technology, or a related study (or equivalent project-related experience)
- Ability to quickly learn the objectives, structures, operations and policies of different business areas
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders across departments and teams
- Adaptability and a willingness to learn new skills
- Experience creating documentation such as business case documentation, process flows or business requirements summaries
- Technically minded, with the ability to conceptually grasp and communicate technical information
