Job Description:

Position Overview:

Custom Pump and Controls is looking for a highly motivated and skilled Project Manager/Inside Sales Coordinator to play a pivotal role in our company's growth and success. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical expertise in the water and wastewater industry, excellent project management skills, and a strong aptitude for sales and customer relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

- Manage the full lifecycle of lift station projects, from inception to completion.
- Develop project plans, budgets, and timelines, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Coordinate project teams, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.

Sales and Business Development:

- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the water and wastewater industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking to expand our client base.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.

Technical Expertise:

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies in the water and wastewater sector.
- Provide technical expertise to clients, helping them select the most appropriate products and solutions to meet their needs.
- Collaborate with team to customize solutions for specific client requirements.

Customer Satisfaction:

- Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality products and services.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and professionally.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance on system maintenance and optimization.

Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain accurate and detailed project documentation, including contracts, reports, and project files.
- Generate regular sales and project progress reports for management review.
- Prepare and manage project budgets and financial reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • Proven experience in project management within the water and wastewater industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of pumps, lift stations, and related equipment.
  • Demonstrated success in sales and business development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet client and project requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Note: This position may require occasional travel to client sites.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

  • Tampa, FL 33610: Relocate before starting work (Required)
