Responsibilities
The candidate will serve as a liaison in the sales process when complex and technical equipment, or services, are involved
The individual will present products and equipment to potential customers, explain features and benefits, and present individualized proposals to customers for review and approval
Generate high quality sales leads in collaboration with the Business Development Department
Conduct scheduled onsite projects visits with potential customers
Prepare individualized HVAC service and retrofit proposals
Conduct and document follow up meetings throughout the sales process
Manage and implement mechanical HVAC scope of work for commercial, institutional, governmental, and healthcare facilities
Interface with client representatives and manage completion of tasks on schedule and within budget to the customer's satisfaction
Ensure projects are timely and successfully completed
Oversee new installation, construction activities to validate compliance with contract documents
Generate and coordinate service maintenance agreements, with applicable special testing procedures required to maintain equipment & systems in the prescribed condition
Prepare renewal orders, as applicable
Ensures complete performance of mechanical engineering tasks by performing HVAC load calculations, sizing equipment, duct work, piping, etc
Perform economic analysis of alternate HVAC systems for existing facilities and buildings
Accountable for assigned account and project management of all commercial type accounts
Perform site surveys, estimate, prepare and propose consultative sales solutions to customers
Perform other duties as assigned
Off-shift and weekend work may be occasionally required
Qualifications
Field Knowledge and Longevity
3 to 5 years’ experience Required
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical engineering, or a related engineering/science field
Knowledge with HVAC/R Equipment, operations, mechanical & electrical troubleshooting
Knowledge of heat transfer and fluid dynamics
HVAC/R Equipment inspection and testing knowledge
Excellent writing, communication, presentation and customer interface skills
Ability to work effectively and cooperatively in a team environment
Must be able to coordinate work between multiple project disciplines
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects without missing deadlines or sacrificing accuracy
Must be self-motivated, demonstrate initiative, and be able to work independently or with minimal supervision
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, if necessary
Ability to perform root cause failure analysis to component level
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $62,393.00 - $95,000.00 per year
