SUMMARY
Under the general direction of the Information Technology Manager I, the Information Technology Specialist I will serve as a Business Analyst in the Planning Support Unit on the most complex Information Technology projects. The IT Specialist I works as part of the Agile development team on planning, designing, testing, implementing, and maintenance of complex applications and projects. The IT Specialist I collaborates with project managers and projects sponsors to determine project scope and vision. The incumbent demonstrates expertise in the areas of business analysis, design, application development, and quality assurance. The incumbent communicates clearly, concisely, and precisely and brings clarity and understanding of requirements to all levels of staff and stakeholders on the project. The incumbent also exhibits flexibility in being able to respond to shifting priorities and unanticipated work activities.

Special Requirements
