Job Description

Immediate opportunity for a Customer Service/Sales Representative. Nordex, Inc. is an engineering-driven company, with major operations regarding gear manufacturing, CNC machining, and assemblies, for the medical device, robotics, automation, aerospace, and defense industries.

We are looking for someone who has excellent communications skills. Your primary responsibilities will be to respond to customer requests via telephone and email. You will also process orders and expedite as needed to assure exemplary customer satisfaction. The candidate will need to interface with Nordex engineers, manufacturing personnel, expediting, and suppliers as necessary to ensure the customer’s needs are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with customers via telephone and email to manage their requests and sales.
  • Enter and process sales.
  • Process requests for quote, through working with Nordex engineers and suppliers, as needed.
  • Purchase components needed to manufacture a job.
  • Work with expediters to keep job proceeding smoothly and to ensure on time delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem Solving and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Technical sales experience a plus
  • Industrial manufacturing experience a plus
  • Ability to read blueprints a plus
  • Experience quoting jobs a plus
  • Must be a team player
  • Basic computer skills--proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Must be a U.S. person, in accordance with ITAR 120.15

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $29.00 per hour
