Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for answering customer problems or questions related to orders, shipments, returns, complaints or other inquiries in compliance with customer service operational procedures and all applicable regulatory and statutory requirements. Must work to maintain rapid response accordingly to agreed company standards.
- Assist and communicate price quotes with customers on new and existing products.
- Review and update customer pricing, within customer price sheets and the ERP system.
- Answer customers’ questions about price, availability, and uses of the products they are selling.
- Follow-up with customers to make sure that they are satisfied with their purchases and answer any questions they might have.
- Communicate with customers to obtain feedback using various methods: surveys, email, phone calls.
- Must communicate verbally and in writing between customer/suppliers/visitors/associates and relevant staff; interpret and respond clearly and effectively over the phone and in person.
- Must perform job specific functions using various hardware and software systems; such as personal computer, internet, printers, copiers, fax machines, mailing systems, AES (Automated Export System,) Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Visual Manufacturing ERP System.
- Maintain current knowledge of products and customers to assist with promoting (upselling) company products and services through preparation of quarterly promotional specials, mailing, events and customer training using various media (phone, internet, mail, email, etc.)
Qualifications & Education
- High school diploma or GED
- Customer service experience required
- 1-2 yrs. Experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Must have excellent computer proficiency (MS Office- Word, Excel and Outlook).

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
