As a Sr Manager Technical Product Management you will:

  • Manage all product owners for all product lines, a team of 12+
  • Develop, coach, elevate, and motivate product owner talent at TCP
  • Own the product-to-engineering interface and processes
  • Work with leadership to shape TCP’s technology position to deliver products that are recognized best in class and achieve the company’s business goals
  • Establish team and individual KPIs, goals and objectives
  • Build trust and effective relationships with peers/cross-functional teams and provide leadership across the product, engineering and business teams.

Under your leadership, Product Owners will perform the following:

  • Create a deep understanding of our Customers (across segments and user personas).
  • Gather constant feedback from customers, internal stakeholders, and through product analytics
  • Analyze customer and prospect experiences to define friction points and create seamless and effortless experiences; conduct frequent user testing with lightweight prototypes
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams on the development, QA, and release of products and balance of resources to ensure success for the entire organization
  • Participate in development of the product roadmap and work with cross-functional teams (services, support, product development) to execute on the roadmap
  • Own roadmap execution, backlog grooming and prioritization aligned with the roadmap. Scope and help prioritize development based on business and customer impact
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure accurate forecasting and efficient allocation of resources
  • Define detailed product requirements and use rapid cycles to iterate and learn
  • Execute beta testing with customers
  • Coordinate product releases, including working with engineering for release notes, demo capabilities, and with customer success for roll-out

You are a strong fit for this role if you have:

  • 7+ years of Product Management/Ownership experience with a focus on B2B SaaS
  • Strong people leadership and team development skills
  • Strong ability to translate product needs into user stories.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, at both strategic and detail levels
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team player; ability to interface and build relations at all levels
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies
  • Experience working closely with UX for prototyping and experience design
  • Passionate about product, and customer experience
  • Business degree, MS/BS in computer science, engineering, or similar preferred.
  • Strong project management, and analytical problem solving skills
  • Detail-oriented and hands-on; willing to roll up your sleeves to get the job done
  • High degree of self-initiative, proactive and self-driven to drive results.
