Our Sarnia branch is growing and we want you to join! We’re looking for a Technical Inside Sales Representative knowledgeable in Valves & Actuation (V&A). This position will have a primary focus on growing market share, strengthening our customer relationships, providing product knowledge, and custom product quotations. This role is ideal for those who love to work independently and on a collaborative team.

  • Strong computer skill including capabilities in SAP, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is desirable.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and acceptable Driver’s Abstract.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment testing (Drug, alcohol, and fitness to work).

What will you do?

  • Meet customer’s requirements when promised in an effective and professional manner
  • Manage customer issues and service to corporate standards
  • Process customer RFQ, ability to read and understand customer Data sheets, schematics, to provide options, and be able to provide product recommendations.
  • Efficiently execute processes, including enter orders (sales, production, service) into our computer system, create order confirmations, invoices for material order, enter any buyout POs for supplier.
  • Ensure accuracy of all orders and billing are done in timely manner
  • Analyze market potential and build key business strategy and initiatives in collaboration with sales, marketing, and operations to maximize results.
  • Execute a sales strategy that ensures long term growth with key customers in the region.
  • Working with our outside sales group to cultivate key customer relationships and the development and implementation of strategic business and marketing plans for all products and services included within DNOW’s core offering.
  • Provide customer and market specific intelligence to support internal business groups.
  • Proactively offer technical advantages and differentiation to secure business opportunities in advance of commercial quotation requests or RFP’s.
  • Demonstrate competence and compliance with DNOW’s processes, procedures, safety regulations and system requirements.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

DNOW is an industry-leading provider of oilfield supplies to the upstream, midstream, and downstream and industrial markets. We also offer supply chain solutions such as procurement, inventory, warehouse management logistics, safety and turnaround support services, project management, and business process and performance metrics reporting.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$48.00 per hour
