Job Title: Advertising Executive (Ad Sales Focus)
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Advertising Executive with a primary focus on ad sales for our growing digital & print magazine. The ideal candidate will have a passion for digital media, a strong understanding of the advertising landscape, and a proven track record in driving revenue through ad sales in both print and digital environments. This role requires someone who is not only a skilled salesperson but also adept at building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets for digital advertising.
- Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to identify new business opportunities.
- Identify and engage potential clients, presenting customized advertising solutions that align with their marketing objectives.
- Conduct warm calling to prospective clients to generate leads and build relationships.
- Manage client accounts by providing exceptional service and support throughout the advertising process.
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and repeat business
- Manage the sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, handling negotiations, contracts, and ad placements
- Utilize technical sales skills to effectively communicate the benefits of our advertising solutions.
- Track and report on sales performance, including revenue, pipeline, and forecasts
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in advertising.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in advertising sales, with a proven track record of success in print or digital media
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets and goals
- Strong network of client relationships within the advertising industry is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and digital sales platforms
Skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Experience in business development with a focus on expanding client portfolios.
- Proficient in warm calling techniques to establish rapport with potential clients.
- Knowledge of technical sales processes, particularly in technology sales environments.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey ideas clearly.
- Strong account management skills to maintain positive client relationships.
- Familiarity with market analysis techniques to assess advertising effectiveness.

Pay: $53,036.00 - $60,444.00 per year
