Roofing Sales Rep - Roof & Insurance Specialist

Job Description:

Base pay plus commissions.

The R&I specialist will manage homeowners’ insurance claims and roof inspections for Bardin Roofing clients. You will have knowledge on safety standards for climbing and inspecting roofs of all sizes and heights. You will have the needed tools for climbing and inspecting roofs safely and effectively. This is NOT a residential sales position. You will NOT be selling roofs to residents. You will be climbing 4-8 roofs each day, Monday - Friday with the occasional weekend appointment.

Requirements:

The ability to follow our unique process for handling a claim
The ability to climb and inspect roofs
A clear understanding of storm damage found on roofs and homes
The ability to confirm storm damage on a property
A clear understanding of what insurance companies want to see to approve insurance claims
The ability to communicate effectively with insurance representatives
Needed tools to climb and inspect steep and high roofs; ladders...
The ability to work with our CRM and other softwares
2+ years of experience in roofing sales, ladder assist or insurance adjusting

Daily Activities

Roof inspections looking for storm damage
Confirming and documenting the damage for a report that will be submitted to insurance
Inspecting roofs that have leaks to determine what type of repair is needed
Meeting insurance adjusters and ladder/virtual assists to help them inspect the roof and provide knowledge for best reward
Emergency tarping and post-build inspections as needed
Communicating with homeowners following an inspection as needed

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $80,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
