Your Mission

As a target-oriented and driven Terrirory manager, you will manage retail sales activity of an assigned territory and foster the long-term business relationships and loyalty of the company’s current and potential customers. The ideal candidate will have farming or agriculture industry experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Build and foster high touch and regular relationships with key accounts and prospective customers
  • Act as a business partner to educate and identify unmet customer needs
  • Develop innovative sales and marketing strategies to increase sales within an assigned territory
  • Keep current on product knowledge and equipment
  • Ensure brand awareness within an assigned trade area meets company expectations

Requirements:

  • Previous sales experience, preferable in a heavy machinery or similar industry, with a proven track record of driving sales and increasing numbers
  • The ability to connect and communicate effectively with customers and/or other employees
  • Organization and advanced follow-thru skills
  • Knowledge and familiarity with John Deere and competitive products
