Are you an experienced insurance sales representative? Great!

We are currently seeking an experienced Insurance Sales Representative to join our Topeka team. The ideal candidate should have 1+ years of experience in the insurance industry and possess an active Kansas Property and Casualty license. The role requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as you will be responsible for providing quality customer service to clients over the phone and email. You will also be required to cold call, follow up on warm leads, create insurance quotes, and close sales. Candidates must be able to speak on the phone, be well-organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Depending on your experience, may make a $36,000 per year base salary. With added commission, may make up to $

Responsibilities

  • Prospects for new business from leads generated by referrals, networking, warm transfers, and other lead sources.
  • Make outbound cold calls to solicit business
  • Build strong relationships with clients and provide excellent customer service.
  • Assess their insurance needs and recommend the best plans and coverage.
  • Create insurance quotes for customers. Advise them on key terms and address their queries.
  • Meet or exceed phone and sales quotas as set by management (example: 30 items)

Requirements
  • Kansas Property and Casualty License required.
  • 1+ years of experience in insurance. Willing to train.
  • 1+ years of experience in sales.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills
  • Demonstrates the highest level of technical and cognitive abilities to ensure accuracy and precision
  • Ambitious self-starter who can work independently while working in a collaborative environment
  • Demonstrate professionalism over the phone, in writing, in person, and in the office to create a positive work environment and ensure effective communication.
