Job Description

Our profitable and growing HVAC contracting company seeks a motivated, results-driven Commercial Sales Representative (inside and outside sales) to contribute to the company’s continued growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing a detailed sales strategy and key metrics to drive and measure sales performance. Responsibilities:

  • Compile project estimates by obtaining quotes from suppliers and estimating labor and material costs (training will be provided)
  • Generate maintenance contract proposals for existing and new clients
  • Service existing accounts and obtain new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade connections
  • Methods include cold calling, networking, and lead generation for commercial HVAC jobs to bid, selling maintenance contracts and securing new service accounts
  • Educate customers on the benefits of using our company for a variety of services
  • Meets with existing and/ or potentially new customers to foster relationships that will eventually result in increased sales
  • Works primarily with ‘House Accounts,’ to maintain lasting relationships with known customers
  • Find opportunities to expand client base
  • Networks with prospective clients to persuade them to bring their business to the company
  • Drive sales objectives and achieving commercial budget and targets
  • Identify new sales opportunities and build client relationships
  • Track sales metrics for performance in company sales log to ensure that goals are met and/or exceeded including following up on all bids, proposals and maintenance contract proposals

Qualifications:

  • Honest, Trustworthy, and Reliable
  • Team player who works well with others, able to take instruction and direction
  • Can Do Attitude: Positive, Helpful and Energetic
  • At least 5 years of experience in Sales for small to midsize business of similar size.
  • Proven track record as a ‘go-getter’ with an understanding of drivers behind sales and expanding market share
  • Demonstrated budget management skills
  • Strong business acumen with a broad understanding of fundamental sales principles
  • Goal-driven and solution-focused sales approach
  • Ability to target specific markets and customize sales strategies to fit
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate and build a consensus
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and sales management software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
