Summary

We are seeking meticulous and efficient Inbound and Outbound Coordinators to join our dynamic logistics team. As a vital link in our supply chain, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and executing the shipping process, ensuring that all our products reach their destinations safely and on time. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy in order documentation and shipping labels.
  • Coordinate with carriers and schedule pick-ups for shipments.
  • Update inventory management system with shipping and receiving information.
  • Handle returns, including inspection, restocking, or disposal of goods.
  • Assist in inventory counts and stock checks, ensuring stock levels are maintained accurately.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and standard operating procedures within the shipping and receiving areas.
  • Utilize shipping software to track, check, prioritize, and route orders.
  • Communicate effectively with customer service and other departments to resolve shipping issues or delays.
  • Provide weight, shipping costs, and time estimates to the sales or customer service teams when necessary.
  • Ensure the proper handling of hazardous materials, when applicable, following legal and company guidelines.
  • Keep records of all shipping logs, documenting all pertinent information for future reference.
  • Operate machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move or hoist shipments.

Day Shifts available:

Monday- Friday from 6:00am to 2:00pm

Education and Skills:

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) with
  • 1+ year of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Basic math skills for package measurements and label preparation are required.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

The ideal candidate must have strong Microsoft and Excel skills, proficiency with shipping software, and knowledge of postal or commercial shipping methods and procedures. They should possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment both independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with inventory software and the ability to input and retrieve data are essential. An understanding of safety procedures in a warehouse setting is required, and forklift certification is a plus.

Other Requirements: Applicants must be legally authorized to work in U.S. without sponsorship and must be at least 21 years of age to comply with legal regulations regarding the handling and proximity to alcohol.

The employee must frequently sit or stand and use their hands to finger, handle, and feel objects, tools, and controls for extended periods of time. The employee is frequently required to bend and reach with hands and arms for extended periods of time.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds with mechanical assistance and lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and 100 pounds occasionally. The employee must frequently kneel, squat, bend, stoop, twist, and reach overhead with repetitive motions. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
