Inventory Specialist
As an extension of our warehouse team, the Inventory Specialist is responsible for inventory pricing standardization and updates item part number and description accuracy, as well as various warehouse, and inventory management related tasks specific to inventory management, maintenance, accuracy and quality control.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Manage inventory price books to maintain accuracy of inventory costs, sales prices, product numbers, and description
  • Attain and maintain expertise with ERP and other office software solutions
  • Update ERP to reflect vendor MSRPs and internal dealer costs
  • Continuously update ERP to maintain accurate cost of goods pricing and sales pricing
  • Expand inventory price book updates to all locations
  • Build and maintain a price book repository for all locations
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of pricing, products, and network capabilities of our current and new vendors as well as pricing promotions, changes, and trends
  • Maintain pricing and vendor documentation
  • Actively engage vendors in product discussions
  • Function as a liaison between our vendors and the sales, orders, and provisioning teams as needed to move quotes/orders forward effectively
  • Assist in all vendor or pricing inquiries from sales, operations and finance
  • Supports the warehouse
  • Answer customer calls and take orders
  • Maintain inventory stocking levels
  • Assist with inventory replenishment as needed
  • Regular attendance at work and provides appropriate flexibility
  • Adherence to safety guidelines and policies
  • Other job-related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
  • 2-3 years inventory management and pricing experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Warehouse and inventory management experience
  • Experience in a warehouse environment
  • Experience working with and speaking to vendors; building great working relationships
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds, and sometimes more (with assistance)
  • As a condition of employment, ACS will conduct a background check and drug screen
EDUCATION:
  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent

  • Compensation Range: $20-22/hour
  • Position hours: 7AM-3:30PM

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed in a fast-paced warehouse setting, and indoor/outdoor construction environment with frequent interruptions. The employee is required to stand; walk; dig; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 150 pounds. Duties may require standing and walking for long periods of time. The employee is expected to work alongside the crew and demonstrate the install and/or service process when necessary. The employee is required to perform the expected duties at offsite locations. Frequent need to drive a company provided vehicle to other work locations is expected.
