As we expand our market presence, we are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Business Development Representative to join our team.
In this entry-level role, you will work closely with the senior business development team to identify growth opportunities, build strategic relationships, and contribute to the overall success of the company.
This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to kick-start a career in business development.
Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement:
- Meet prospective and existing customers to understand their technical requirements and challenges.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Technical and Sales Expertise:
- Utilize your physics (or engineering) background to comprehend and articulate complex technical concepts related to our light measurement solutions.
- Provide technical guidance to customers and offer tailored solutions.
- Close sales.
Product Demonstrations:
- Perform product demonstrations to showcase the capabilities and advantages of our instruments and software.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition of our products to potential customers.
- Perform tests and studies to support customer needs as required.
Travel:
- Be willing to travel internationally to meet with customers, attend trade shows, and represent the company at industry events.
Problem Solving:
- Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve customer issues promptly.
- Act as a liaison between customers and our technical support and development teams.
- Provide input on market trends and customer needs to contribute to product development and improvement.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in physics, engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience:
- Entry-level candidates are welcome. Prior experience in technical sales or customer-facing roles is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and convey technical information.
- Results-driven and motivated to achieve sales targets.
Adaptability:
- Must keep pace with a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
