Our Grand Prairie, AB location is currently looking for an Energy Services Technician to join our Surface Rentals team. The Energy Services Technicians are responsible for ensuring that the highest quality of maintenance and service is provided while addressing client service concerns relating to equipment within their scope of responsibility. And responsible for assisting the senior technicians in rig ins/outs of surface rental equipment and other various tasks assigned.
Hourly rate starting at $25/hour.

- Assist with the mobilization and maintenance of assets in the field;
- Assist with rig up and rig down of solids control equipment such as centrifuges;
- Assist with the tear-out of all assets and equipment at the completion of the project;
- Complete all documentation required for the work being performed (JSA's, work orders, inspection checklists, time entry, log books (if required), inventory management, journey management);
- Maintain and operate any assigned vehicle in accordance with Clean Harbors policies and procedures;
- Ability to work on-call on a rotating basis as scheduled;
- Washing and servicing of equipment;
- Ability to work long hours away from home in remote locations.
- Valid FULL class 5 driver’s license is required (GDL will not be accepted);
- Local to Grande Priaire area;
- Ability to work 14/7 rotation;
- Valid H2S and First Aid ticket;
- Knowledge and background related to the scope of work (production services, well sites, wastewater or remote accommodations);
- Good mechanical background with troubleshooting skills is desirable;
- Excellent attention to detail and well developed organizational skills;
- Strong work ethic with an ability to work independently and in a team environment;
- Flexible, motivated, capable of working in a fast paced, demanding environment and able to respond to change quickly.
