Min requirements:
Bachelor's in physics, ME, EE, or CS, but master's preferred.
Minimum requirements:
Bachelor's in physics, chemistry, ME, EE, or related field, but master's preferred.
Strong solidworks, CAD skills. 2+ years industry experience.
Develop next-generation lidar prototypes.
The role generally consists of building the tools and equipment needed to build the prototypes, and using those tools to develop a repeatable process.
The candidate will draw CAD, order parts, assemble, develop the process, and measure the results.
Experience with smoothly-spinning motor assemblies is a plus.
Experience with handling and assembly of small parts such as die-attach processes is a plus.
At least part of the time, the candidate must work in the labs in Mountain View and Milpitas, but some of the tasks can be done remotely.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
