Job Summary
Sales Account Executives in this role are calling on new and current customers to help with the customers’ needs in finding the correct heating solution. The account executive’s role is to be the first point of contact for the industrial line of products, advise the customer and provide quotes.
Sales Account Executives in this role are calling on new and current customers to help with the customers’ needs in finding the correct heating solution. The account executive’s role is to be the first point of contact for the industrial line of products, advise the customer and provide quotes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Grow BriskHeat revenue in assigned geographic territory to achieve sales and profit goals
- Gather application facts, coordinate quote processes, present solutions, and secure and enter orders from prospective and current customers
- Cold-call prospects (daily) to grow existing sales base
- Work with Distributors and Manufacturers’ Agents (selling partners) to generate revenue
- Provide and follow-up on sales leads
- Direct the territory selling process (quotes, order entry, etc.)
- Answer price and availability questions
- Follow-up with current, dormant, and prospective customers to uncover new needs
- Answer prospects and customers’ technical, application, and product-related questions
- Communicate order process and progress to customers
- Help gather information to aid marketing in better material. Includes technical applications, ease of use, and other pertinent data
- Provide all other aspects of customer service
- Cooperate with team leaders for new initiatives and agendas
- Coordinate RMA’s (returns and repairs)
Education & Basic Skill Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or Communications or equivalent work experience required.
- Previous successful sales experience required.
- Experience with distributors and/or manufacturers' agents is highly desired
- Experience with extensive telephone sales, service, or customer support is required.
- Advanced level of knowledge with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Outlook, OneDrive, PowerPoint, and Teams
- Must be well-organized, strong attention to detail, ability to effectively multi-task and set priorities.
- Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working with Epicor a plus but is not required.
