Micro Quality Calibration was founded in 1978 and is an A2LA ISO/IEC 9001 and 17025-2017 Accredited Metrology laboratory specializing in calibration, repair, testing, First Article Inspection, and sales (162 lines) of precision measurement and test instruments (In-house, On-site, and Mobile Calibration Laboratory). MQC continues to be at the forefront of the Metrology industry in capabilities/disciplines offered to its customers.

Our customer base includes small business owners to the Aerospace, Defense, Medical, Electrical, Automotive, and Communications Industries giants. What We Are Looking for in the Ideal Candidate

We are seeking an experienced Sales Support Representative for our Chatsworth location. The ideal candidate will be computer and excel savvy and a fast typist. The sales and customer service teams will rely on you for having accurate and updated data that can be easily accessible through a digital database or excel as needed.

What Will You Be Doing As a Sales Support Representative:

-Assist sales team with administrative support including but not limited to the following:
-Emails
-Calendar
-Research (web related / google research on instruments and customers)
-Data Entry (add, edit or modify records or documents)
-Transfer data from paper formats into computer files
-Create spreadsheets / Pricing
-Customer service interaction via phone/email
-Perform clerical duties, customer service, maintain files, and organize documents as needed
-Other duties as deemed necessary

Requirements and Skills Needed for Success:
-Exceptional attention to detail while producing error-free work product
-Able to effectively communicate with all levels of team members, management
-Fast typing skills (35wpm+); Knowledge of touch typing system is strongly preferred
-Knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.)
-Great organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities
-Ability to multi-task
-Have excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills
-High school diploma or equivalent

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
