We are actively seeking a Vice President level Sales Professional with retained executive search experience to cultivate new business opportunities and drive incremental revenue growth by expanding our client portfolio for engagements across a full spectrum of roles at Board, C-Suite and Executive levels. We specialize in providing the best talent with diverse perspectives to a wide range of client companies across many industry verticals, including but not limited to Life Sciences, Consumer Products, Financial Services and Technology.

This Vice President will have the opportunity to build a portfolio of business and oversee client accounts and projects with the support of the firm’s experienced research, recruiting and operational staff.*

Essential Duties & Responsibilities*
The ideal candidate will have significant experience originating profitable revenue from their existing relationships, cultivating new relationships, and growing their own pipeline. The focus of this role is to expand JBK’s client portfolio by bringing in new client executive search engagements in existing or new business verticals.

Leadership responsibility for new business development activity and search engagement oversight.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients with a high conversion rate to become and remain JBK clients.
- Collaborate and consult with clients to define job requirements, corporate culture fit, and expected candidate competencies.
- Lead team to deliver and ensure adherence to JBK’s timelines and candidate quality parameters on every search.

Experience*
- 7-15 years of professional experience with at least six years in the search industry.
- 5+ years of sales experience within the retained search industry with existing client relationships that could be converted to JBK clients.
- Demonstrated level of analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
- Hands-on, high energy and service-oriented leader.
- Flexibility (willing to wear many hats), diplomacy, and ability to work in a high-pressure and entrepreneurial environment. Ability to prosper in a small team setting.
