Job Description
Position Summary
The Computer Science Specialist collaborates with teachers to instruct students on principles of computer science and assist them with work in SkillStruck, an educational computer science software application. The CS Specialist also works in small groups with Gifted & Talented students who are passionate about learning to code. The position is part-time, 15 hours per week, with a flexible schedule.
Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or experience in the field of computer science or programming is preferred. College students in process of obtaining a CS degree will be considered. A combination of education and experience may be required.
- Preference in teaching and working with children.
