As a key member of the Sales Operations team, the Sales Support Vertical & Quote Desk specialist will collaborate with the Vertical Projects Team and Wholesalers providing quotations to customers by utilizing sales and technical knowledge for the preparation of quotation packages.
Responsibilities:- Assist Vertical Projects and Wholesaler validating sales opportunities, generating sales proposals and customer quotations.
- Have a strong grasp on product knowledge and utilize that knowledge to assist in recommendations on competitor cross reference on plumbing specification.
- Assist Project and Trade Sales in managing customer relationships and become a strong partner.
- Create, maintain, and distribute leads and sales pipeline by maintaining accurate and complete information using Salesforce.
- Proactively develop a strong rapport with customers and drive project conversions.
- Provide a superior level of customer service, handling various channels of communication including emails, calls, chats while maintaining professionalism.
- Meet and exceed standards for quote KPIs
- Bachelor degree or work experience equivalent
- 3-5 years’ experience in related industry and field
- Basic plumbing or sanitary system knowledge desirable
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical documentation
- Competent in required job skills and knowledge; exhibits ability to learn and apply new skills; keeps abreast of current development; requires minimal supervision; displays understanding of how job relates to others; uses resources effectively.
- Proficient in associated Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point) Salesforce.com CRM platform experience preferred.
- Follows policies and procedures; completes administrative tasks correctly and on time; supports organization’s goals and values.
- Effective decision making skills as it relates to providing direction to market price and product usage
- Volunteers readily; undertakes self-development activities; seeks increased responsibilities; takes independent actions and calculated risks; looks for and takes advantage of opportunities; asks for and offers help when needed.
