Job Description:
Roto-Rooter is seeking a motivated and driven Excavation Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in generating sales opportunities for excavation and trenchless pipe replacement services. You will be responsible for developing customer relationships, diagnosing customer needs, and providing expert consultation to guide them through the excavation service process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-home consultations and assessments to determine the best excavation solutions for customers
- Present excavation options and offer tailored solutions to meet customers' needs
- Close sales effectively by building trust, communicating clearly, and addressing customer concerns
- Coordinate with the excavation team to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales and project lifecycle
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, follow-ups, and customer interactions in the CRM system
Requirements:
- Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in a service-related industry (plumbing, construction, home improvement, etc.)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to diagnose issues and propose the best technical solutions for customers
- Ability to work independently, with a focus on achieving sales goals
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of plumbing or excavation services is a plus but not required; we offer extensive training
- Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships
