Position Summary

The Sales Manager is responsible for developing and executing a sales and marketing strategy that will drive revenue growth by acquiring new business and nurturing existing client relationships. The primary objective is to identify and pursue opportunities in the commercial and residential sector including offices, warehouses, and commercial properties requiring relocation services. Leveraging your communication and negotiation skills, you will consult with clients to understand their requirements and develop solutions to meet their needs. The Sales Manager will also collaborate with internal teams in estimation, to will ensure all aspects of a client’s scope is met and provide value added recommendations throughout the process to ensure all internal financial targets are satisfied.

Essential Responsibilities

Supporting Sales Activities & Processes

  • Consistently and efficiently drives sales processes to create and maintain account, contact, leads, and opportunities lists
  • Provide regular reports of activities and processes
  • Customarily and regularly engage with partners, clients and potential clients to obtain orders and/or contracts for services
  • Consistently execute sales activities including: solicitations, meetings, site inspections, etc. based on established activity goals, markets, and priorities
  • Attend trade shows and other related industry events
  • Regularly review and assess sales strategy and processes for effectiveness

IQ CRM Utilization

  • Ensure that all assigned accounts, contacts, and data is correct and periodically checked for accuracy and relevance
  • Assist with the collection and/or creation of proposals and bid presentations
  • Ensure accuracy of client information and maintain relationships throughout the sales process

Achieving Sales Goals

  • Utilizing industry contacts, resources, etc. identify accounts and contacts with meeting opportunities for assigned markets/territories
  • Utilizing industry contacts, resources, etc. identify lead and/or RFP opportunities
  • Efficiently achieve or exceed sales goals

Economic Impact

  • Generate opportunities for economic impact through lead generation and sharing those opportunities with Bart’s Office, Inc.
  • Generate economic impact through booking definite meeting business with Bart’s Office, Inc.
  • Generate and record estimated economic impact using industry-recognized economic impact calculators and the Bart’s Office, Inc CRM
  • Provide regular reports of economic impact

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Identify and cultivate productive and lasting relationships with stakeholders, clients, and community members
  • Cultivate productive relationships with Bart’s Office through frequent and consistent communication, engagement, networking events, educational events, etc.
  • Cultivate productive relationships with existing and potential clients through frequent and consistent communication and engagement

Qualifications, Skills, and Requirements

· 5+ years of prior sales experience

· Experience in the moving or commercial relocation industry highly preferred

· Exceptional relationship builder and connector

· Strong network in the New Orleans commercial market

  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Comfortable using a computer for various tasks.
  • Travel to client sites is required
  • Ability to observe a client’s operation and provide accurate communication to deliver an quote or assessment of services

  • Client sites will vary based on nature of the organization
  • Work environments include office work at a desk and frequent exposure to warehouses and storage facilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $35,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
