Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated sales estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building material and account sales experience, demonstrating expertise in both technical and sales aspects of the role. As a Sales Rep, you will be responsible for obtaining new custom home and renovation projects , while also engaging in direct sales activities to promote our services at Cozy Custom Homes. This position requires a blend of hands-on skills and the ability to effectively communicate with clients to ensure their needs are met.

Duties

• Oversee and sell new projects from start to finish, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to timelines.
• Utilize software tools for estimating jobs, tracking progress, and reporting on project status.
• Conduct cold calling and direct sales efforts to generate new business opportunities in the B2B market.
• Engage with clients to understand their renovation needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate resources and materials for each project.
• Maintain an organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored and maintained.
• Provide technical sales support by explaining product features and benefits to potential customers.

Requirements

• Proven experience in renovation or construction-related fields, as well as any building supply/trades takeoff experience.
• Strong skills in sales management, with a focus on retail and direct sales techniques.
• Familiarity with B2B marketing strategies and the ability to effectively engage potential clients.
• Proficiency in using software applications related to project management and sales tracking.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong organizational skills.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year

Benefits:

• Paid time off

Compensation Package:

• 1099 contract
• Uncapped commission

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Ability to Relocate:

• Charleston, SC 29401: Relocate before starting work (Required)
