With a tradition of athletic and academic excellence, we are seeking a strategic and experienced leader to serve as the Senior Associate Athletics Director, Revenue Generation and Engagement. Reporting directly to the Director of Athletics, this role will play a critical role in driving revenue for the University of Arizona Athletics and supporting our mission of holistic student-athlete development.

The University of Arizona has been recognized for our innovative work-life programs.- Revenue Generating Strategy Development: Develop, implement and manage comprehensive revenue generation strategies aligned with the goals and objectives of University of Arizona Athletics.
- Data Analytics and ROI Analysis: Utilize data analytics and ROI analysis to evaluate revenue performance, identify trends, and optimize revenue strategies for maximum impact. Responsible for the overall development, implementation and progress of strategic targets.
- Ticket Sales (Operations) and Premium Seating: Lead ticket sales initiatives, including season tickets, single-game tickets, and premium seating options, to maximize attendance and revenue for athletic events at the University of Arizona.
- Event Hospitality: Enhance the fan experience and drive revenue through hospitality offerings, VIP experiences, and other event enhancements at University of Arizona athletic events.
- Corporate Partnerships and Sponsorships: Provide leadership in identifying, cultivating and managing relationships with multimedia rights holder and/or corporate partners and sponsors to maximize value and expansion of the University of Arizona Athletics.
- Fundraising and Development: Collaborate with the development team to maximize aligned fundraising opportunities to support athletic scholarships and facility improvements at the University of Arizona.
- Merchandising and Licensing: Oversee merchandising and licensing efforts, including branded merchandise sales, e-commerce platforms, and licensing agreements, to drive revenue and enhance fan engagement.
- Media Rights and Broadcasting: Manage media rights agreements and broadcasting partnerships to maximize revenue from television, radio, streaming, and other media platforms.
- Compliance and Ethical Standards: Ensure compliance with NCAA regulations, ethical standards, and best practices in revenue generation activities within University of Arizona Athletics.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Deep understanding of the collegiate sports landscape and the unique challenges and opportunities within University of Arizona Athletics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the Director of Athletics and other senior leaders within University of Arizona Athletics.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and creativity in revenue generation.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required
- Minimum of 9 years of related work experience, including 5 years of managerial experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Experience leading a team, project, program, or function is typically required.
- Proven track record of at least five-to-seven years of experience in revenue and attendance growth leadership roles within the sports industry, preferably in collegiate athletics.
- Master's degree
