Sales Representative

We’re looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Property & Casualty Sales Representative to join our team in our Irvine office. Applicants must have a successful track record and experience in insurance sales and possess an active Property/Casualty insurance license, be self-motivated, goal oriented, articulate, professional, and be able to work independently and as a team player with the ability to handle multiple tasks.

The position involves selling homeowners insurance policies to customers contacting us for quotes via phone, internet, and mail. There is no cold calling. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to explaining various insurance coverages, educating our customers on insurance, comparing our product and rates to their current or prior Homeowners insurance policy, underwriting to ensure that the customer meets our underwriting guidelines, running underwriting reports and following up via telephone, internet, and mail with potential customers, issuing policies and building personal referral and testimonial sources. The sales representative must be timely, professional, and courteous in responding to applicant and lender / escrow requests.

Our sales department is fast-paced and automated. The ideal candidate will have excellent sales and closing abilities, problem-resolution and customer service skills, a positive outlook, patience, the ability to receive and implement instruction, excellent listening, and verbal / written communication with parties of all backgrounds.

This position offers exceptional earning potential with current agents earning $100k +.

Requirements / Preferences

• Candidate must have knowledge of and experience with basic automated systems.
• An active Property/Casualty Insurance License is required.
• Sales experience with a successful track record is required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Mandarin is preferred. However, please let us know if you speak any additional language(s) fluently.
