Landers Auto Group is currently seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Parts Sales Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for selling auto parts and accessories to customers while providing exceptional customer service. This is a full-time, individual contributor position with opportunities for advancement. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the automotive industry and a drive to succeed.
Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive hourly base pay with the opportunity to earn additional commission based on sales performance. Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide excellent service, determining their needs and making appropriate recommendations for auto parts and accessories
- Conduct sales transactions accurately and efficiently, processing payments and handling returns and exchanges
- Keep track of inventory and order necessary parts to ensure availability for customers
- Use computer systems and software to look up and order parts, as well as track inventory and sales
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to facilitate repeat business and generate new leads
- Stay up-to-date on new products and industry trends to provide knowledgeable and current information to customers
- Participate in sales and promotional events to generate new business and increase sales
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including shelves, displays, and inventory storage areas
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in auto parts sales or customer service preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of automotive parts and accessories, as well as the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new products
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and some evenings
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
