Job Description for Inside Sales Position
- Data entry for orders, invoices, and new customer accounts into our sales management database
- Order, invoice, and account entry maintenance
- Filing orders and invoices
- Interfacing with customers and manufacturers by phone and email
- Communicating with and supporting both the inside and outside sales personnel with customer service and sales. Such as:
- Checking on order statuses
- Following up on leads and quotes
- Investigating and generating customer leads
- Participating in product training with manufacturers virtually and in person
- Compiling sales reports for manufacturers
- Other duties as assigned
Job Specifications for Inside Sales Position
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word
- Proficient in written and verbal communication
- Willingness to learn, especially in regard to our database, with on-the-job training
- Education: Degree not required
- Experience: Data entry and customer service a plus
- Job Type: Part-time or Full-time, hourly
- Physical setting: Office located in Richardson
- Schedule: Part-time, flexible/ Full-time, 8:00am-5:00pm
- Pay: $18.00-$21.50 an hour, 20-40 hours a week
