Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our dynamic Insurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with referral partners and potential clients, and driving sales growth. This position requires proactive outreach through relationship building opportunities such as BNI, lunches, networking, community festivals and events to create centers of influence (referral partners) and engage prospects and convert them into valuable clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound calling campaigns to generate leads and identify potential clients.
- Utilize warm calling techniques to follow up on leads and nurture relationships (both with clients and referral partners).
- Communicate effectively with clients, understanding their needs and presenting tailored solutions.
- Negotiate terms and close sales with prospective clients
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and trends in the industry.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for targeting specific markets.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process.
Experience
- Previous experience in sales or business development.
- Strong networking and relationship building skill base.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on building rapport with clients.
- A proactive approach to identifying opportunities and driving results within a competitive market.
