Since the company's inception in 2019, we've been building a cashflow management platform that allows founders and small business owners to more easily manage their company's financial health with a mix of accounts payable and flexible financing tools. About the Opportunity

We're excited to be leaning into our tremendous growth and expanding our Sales team members to help more brands get ingrained with Settle and our world-class payables management platform and financing solutions. As part of our Sales team, you'll be focused on managing prospects through the sales cycle, from first contact all the way through to helping them send their first payment or requesting their first financing on our platform. You'll also be able to attend trade shows and other industry events, representing Settle to our prospects and existing clients!

As an AE on the Working Capitalteam, you'll get to be a part of shaping and building our sales organization and contribute to establishing and improving processes, and collateral, and helping drive our next stage of explosive growth.

What you'll do:

  • Shape and build a growing sales organization
  • Focus on managing prospects through the sales cycle
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of Settle's products and services
  • Bring Settle's working capital products market in the CPG e-commerce and retail space
  • Creative outbound prospecting within Tech Stack i.e (Salesforce, Apollo, Linkedin Sales Navigator, ChatGPT, Charm.io and Loom)
  • Engage directly with founders, accountants, and operations leaders as well as their in-house finance teams or 3rd party accounting partners
  • Partner closely with our credit team to help new clients through the underwriting and approval process
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities for our cash flow management platform
  • Achieve and exceed weekly/monthly KPI and Performance metrics (calls, meaningful connections, opportunities created, deals closed, etc..)
  • Learn, grow, and be mentored by a team of like-minded professionals!

What you'll need:

  • 1-3 years of closing experience in Software/SaaS (b2b fintech or e-commerce sales a plus!) with a successful track record of consistent quota achievement
  • Proven track record of being in the top 10% - 20% of your past company
  • Outbound lead sourcing experience (70% to 80% self-generated pipeline)
  • A passion for all things e-commerce, CPG, and for working with SMBs
  • Experience selling to CFOs/CEOs and financial stakeholders
  • Full understanding of the SMB/MM sales process, who can resolve a wide range of problems in creative ways and display a sense of urgency both internally and externally
  • You're a team player and builder - you like to coach and be coached

Nice to have:

  • A background in b2b fintech (payments and/or lending)
  • Accounting, commercial lending, or bookkeeping experience

Compensation

This role has an annual starting salary (OTE) range of $120,000 - $160,000 + equity + benefits. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to your individual skills and experience.
