Job Purpose
EnerSys is looking for a talented and competitive inside sales representative that thrives in a quick sales cycle environment. As an inside sales representative, you will report directly to the Inside Sales Manager and communicate with both our outside technical sales representatives and our EnerSys authorized dealer network daily to ensure a smooth sales process. You will demonstrate excellent customer service and professionalism while preparing proposals and submitting orders to our internal customer service group via Salesforce for final order entry.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for Motive Power battery and charger product knowledge and answering technical questions pertaining to our products.
Communicate effectively via telephone, and email with customers, and create exceptional rapport.
Process domestic and international purchase orders ensuring accuracy of the information provided and initiating appropriate communication to guarantee customer satisfaction.
Provide total support to outside technical sales representatives.
Attend and participate periodic sales training where applicable.
Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts.
Collaborate with appropriate team members to determine necessary strategic sales approaches.
Ensure follow-up by passing leads to technical sales representative’s team members with calls-to-action, dates, complete profile information, sources, etc.
Make outbound follow-up calls to existing clients via telephone and email, cross-sell and up-sell.
Other duties may be assigned later.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of inside/outside sales experience.
Proficient in all Microsoft Office products, Salesforce, or similar CRM.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field
5 years of inside/outside sales experience.
