Chief Sales Officer (Full Time/On-Site)
We are seeking an individual to lead and manage our Credit Union's entire sales functions - overseeing all aspects of sales operations - driving revenue growth by developing and implementing effective sales strategies, ensuring the sales team meets targets, and aligning sales efforts with overall strategic business objectives. A successful Chief Sales Officer is responsible for and answers to leadership for the CSO role's ownership of member acquisition and retention, cross-selling, market analysis, and the organization's mission for sales. Chief Sales Officer Qualifications Summary
Education
1) Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field, or 2) Achievement of formal certification recognized in the industry as equivalent to a Bachelor's degree, i.e. certification in sales management; Credit union lending is a plus.
Experience
Minimum of five years in sales with at least two years managing a sales team. Having worked in a Credit Union or financial services setting is preferred.
Required Qualifications/Skills
- Excellent sales strategies, negotiation, marketing, and business development abilities and knowledge
- Strong leadership and people management abilities
- Exceptional communication, both written and verbal/oral
- Proficient in using sales software, CRM tools, and MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams
- Able to analyze data and prepare reports
- Efficient time management and organizational skills
Preference will be given to candidates having prior or current knowledge of credit union products, services and applicable regulations and demonstrate a strong understanding of consumer, mortgage and business loan products, lending practices, and new account processes.
Chief Sales Officer Position Classification: Executive (Exempt); Full-time, onsite with availability to work 45 hours or more/week depending on business needs.
- Compensation: DOE, Paid bi-weekly
- Benefits and Leaves:
- Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability Plans, and Voluntary Insurance - eligible on the 1st of the month following the initial 30 days of employment with the credit union
- Basic Life/AD&D paid by employer
- Retirement - 401k with employer match up to 5% after 90 days as a payroll employee
- Optional Critical Illness/Cancer or Accidental Supplemental Insurance available
- Paid Vacation, Sick, Bereavement, Jury Duty, Volunteer, and Paid Holidays (11 annually)
