About this role:

Bring your vision, communication skills, and construction knowledge to the WORKS by Jesse DeBenedictis’ design-build team! With your keen eye and high-end remodeling background, you will work with customers to meet their residential remodeling wants and needs. Connect with leads via phone, zoom and other electronic means to qualify them, provide rough job budgets and convert the lead to client with the closing of a planning service agreement.


Construction knowledge is critical to your success in this position. This role manages the client relationship from lead through post-construction testimonial. This position provides a base salary and is commissioned on the total job revenue.

Works by Jesse DeBenedictis is a design-build home remodeling company located on the North Shore of MA since 2001. We specialize in building home additions and expansions, whole house remodels, luxury kitchens and luxury bathroom remodels. Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Be able to use your construction knowledge and company-provided data to estimate jobs, and clearly communicate the estimated cost to the client and internal team.
  • Call on and deeper qualify Marketing Qualified Leads by being conversationally inquisitive.
  • Utilize company-provided training to further qualify leads, set up the sale, and set closing appointments.
  • Possess the ability to clearly and concisely communicate the WORKS by JD design-build process, and secure the Design/Planning agreement backed up with a check or credit card.
  • Must be able to close the sale.
  • Must be comfortable with a hybrid-sales model utilizing both technology and in real-life client interactions through Zoom and in person.
  • Network and engage with the surrounding communities to generate additional leads.
  • Be comfortable learning and utilizing CRM systems to track activities and report progress.
  • Post-close, the Residential Construction Sales Representative will fill the role of account manager, providing customer service follow-up and regular client check-ins.
  • You must be dependable, and reliable and attend all meetings fully prepared and on time.

Qualifications:

The successful applicant will possess the following qualifications.


  • Knowledge of jurisdictional and state building codes
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • OSHA 30, OSHA 10, and RRP certifications (a plus)
  • A positive, optimistic demeanor with outstanding leadership, communication, and customer service skills
  • The willingness to work inside or outside in New England weather throughout the year.
  • This position is an office and field hybrid and will require the physical agility to maneuver in both environments. Managing the sale from start to finish requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, bend, crouch, and drive throughout the day or for extended periods of time.
  • The ability to travel 45 minutes to 1 hour outside of Beverly to various job sites.

  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • This position requires 80% local travel
  • - reliable transportation is required.
  • Be willing to submit to a background check to include a current review of your driving record
