Buddy Mail launched in January 2014 as a direct mail piece with a handful of advertisers and mailed to a small number of homes. Over the past 10 years, Buddy Mail has expanded our reach across four markets which has allowed us to become the largest, regional direct mail company in Southern Utah. We have also expanded our offerings to include postcards, custom printed magazines, product brochures, direct mail letters and full digital marketing solutions.
Buddy Mail’s success has come through developing great client relationships while providing top-quality products and helping clients reach their own level of success.
As we’re continuing to grow and expand, we are seeking a qualified sales representative to help sell the products and grow Buddy Mail in existing and several new upcoming markets. The sales representative will have a strong understanding of the sales process and excel at generating leads, building relationships, and creating and maintaining the Buddy Mail brand in their markets. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner who has strong negotiating skills and an ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way.
Objectives
- Represent the company’s products and services, using consumer research as well as deep and comprehensive knowledge of how our solutions meet the needs of customers
- Achieve sales quotas by successfully implementing sales and marketing strategies and tactics
- Generate leads and build relationships in their respective market
- Develop and implement territory action plan using comprehensive data analysis, and adjust sales techniques according to interactions and results in the field
Responsibilities
- Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure that they receive exceptional service and to identify potential new sales opportunities
- Identify prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycles
- Possess in-depth product knowledge and be able to speak about our product and its benefits
- Achieve sales goals by assessing current client needs and following a defined selling process with potential buyers
- Manage artwork details for the client and coordinate graphic design of monthly ads with graphic design team
- Assist in collection of advertising payment and collections from clients as needed
Required skills and qualifications
- 1+ years of sales experience within a similar industry
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Google Business Suite
- Strong ability to balance persuasion with professionalism
- Understanding of advertising and basic ad structure
- Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships
- Preferred skills and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Proven success rate at levels above sales quota

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $41,544.36 - $50,031.91 per year
