WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Under the direction of the Chief Sales Officer (CSO), the Sales Operations Coordinator acts as an essential member of the sales team. The position will work with the CSO to support the sales team, help with daily department tasks, provide reporting for senior management and work with clients, prospects and customers as well as the Marketing team. The Sales Operations Coordinator will be a motivated self-starter who is independent, trustworthy, and highly organized to support high-level sales tasks and events.

  • Problem Solving Skills- critical examination helps sales and marking coordinators pinpoint reasons behind situations, such as why sales totals were less than predicted or why an internet campaign isn’t drawing sufficient traffic
RESPONSIBILITIES
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary.
  • Support the Company’s CSO in all business development efforts and relationship management for strategic accounts.
  • Manage aspects of the prospect pipeline, including tracking and updating activity for senior management, and holding the rest of the team accountable for their activity.
  • Monitor the sales performance through sales tracking tools in the Company’s CRM.
  • Work with sales and administration teams to ensure all reporting and forecasting is accurate and up to date.
  • Serve as the CRM subject matter expert by performing and maintaining the following:
    • Establish workflows and standards for the CRM
    • Campaign management, emails, budgets, execution.
    • Train sales rep’s how to use the CRM and create training manuals with best practice guidelines.
    • Maintaining the database in the CRM and ensure accuracy.
    • Providing and organizing top company organizational charts.
  • Maintain and edit sales presentation materials, including slides and collateral.
  • Conduct background research on Companies that are strategic account targets and on-site client visits.
  • Provide support for vertical market targeting and campaign execution; including market research, platform fit, investigating and securing prospect information.
  • Attend sales team meetings and help to follow up and implement actions items from such meetings.
  • Schedule meetings with clients and prospects, such as demos and client business reviews. Prep materials, attend and take notes and implement follow-up actions from the meetings.
  • Manage communications with clients and prospects as well as company reps, such as sending email blasts, campaign information, general outreach/ updates about new products and initiatives, event invites and follow up.
  • Project Manage RFP’s
    • Manage and meet proposal deadlines by establishing project priorities and due dates.
    • Coordinate with SME’s and the sales team to ensure the proposals are answered strategically and accurately.
    • Assist with reviewing proposals to ensure compliance with protocols and standards.
  • Assist the marketing team with the execution and development of campaigns; reviewing and editing campaigns, sell sheets, emails, case studies and blogs; provide the sales team with communication marketing updates, new marketing content, and new campaigns.
  • Assist and develop sales and marketing content, campaigns, blogs, case studies, white papers, and sell sheets in the CRM.
  • Maintain the Sales Support website of self- service customized marketing materials by participating in training, managing internal product requests, collaborate with product specialists to ensure all content is uploaded accurately, and collaborate with Marketing to develop and/or improve new and old content.

Education & Experience
Requires a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, public relations, or a related field.
