MCA, your trusted advisor for wireless communications, data, and security, is seeking an entry-level Business Development Representative in the Springfield, Missouri area to support our fast-growing MSS division.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Engage with clients through calls to understand and address their needs, concerns, or any issues related to products or services.
  • Respond promptly and accurately to callers, providing clear solutions and ensuring clients feel supported and valued.
  • Retain, grow, and diversify the value delivered to our customers, ultimately growing revenue as a result.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the client's position in the market, their product/service, points of difference, and competitive landscape.
  • Oversee client feedback and input for all projects, providing clear direction and detailed timelines.
  • Establish and build strong working relationships with business leaders at all levels
  • Manage day-to-day client communication and ongoing relationships as it relates to current, new, and upcoming projects.
  • Proactively maintain connections with clients and stay attuned to market changes to identify new opportunities, ensuring consistent and effective engagement with all potential clients.
  • Provide sales support and recommend products or services that best align with client needs.
  • Continuously strive to improve sales techniques and product knowledge through training and professional development opportunities.


WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Technical background a plus but not required.
  • Prior experience within a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and prospects; ability to articulate the value proposition of MCA services to potential clients both verbally and in writing.
  • Motivated, energetic, and results-driven self-starter with a strong sense of ownership over project details and a commitment to accountability.
  • Proven ability to multitask, work both independently and collaboratively, and readily follow instructions as needed.
  • Basic computer skills to include CRM and Microsoft Suite.


YOUR ENVIRONMENTAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:


The physical environment requires the employee to work inside.


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to frequently stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear; lift (overhead, waist level) from the floor, bending, frequently utilize near vision use for reading and computer use; occasionally move equipment weighing up to 15 pounds, and frequently position self to maintain computers or other equipment as needed.
