COMPANY OVERVIEW:
Ecozero is a used cooking oil collection company based out of Richmond, BC with an administrative office in Port Coquitlam. Our company collects used cooking oil from restaurants, shopping malls, senior care homes, food processors, and commissary kitchens across the Lower Mainland. Our mission is to contribute to lead the path towards a zero waste economy for the benefit of all communities.
Position:
We’re looking for an Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper to join the Ecozero team.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact for our clients and respond to incoming calls and answer client questions and queries
- Schedule and coordinate service calls
- Create and process invoices
- Notify and collect overdue payments
- Maintain and manage service and client records accurately
- Maintain and order office supplies
- Perform other clerical duties as required
- Assist the Business Development Manager as needed
- Accounts Payable Management: Efficiently process invoices and manage payments,
- Data Entry: Enter financial transactions into the accounting system with precision, ensuring all entries are correctly coded.
- Account Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling accounts, including bank and vendor.
- Record Maintenance: Keep accurate and comprehensive financial records
Qualifications:
- Ability to speak and write Korean would be an asset.
- Proficiency in Quickbooks accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Hours:
- Monday to Friday 9 AM to 5:30 PM
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $40,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
