Position Overview:
As a Pure Protect, Senior Account Executive your primary responsibility is to drive sales and revenue growth of our DRaaS (Disaster Recovery as a Service) product by promoting and selling disaster recovery services to clients. You’ll collaborate with Core sales teams, partners, and customers to understand their business continuity needs, position DRaaS solutions, and build strong client relationships. Your role involves both sales strategy development and execution.
Responsibilities:
- Sales and Business Development:
- Identify potential clients and prospects who require DRaaS solutions.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
- Present DRaaS offerings to clients, emphasizing their value and benefits.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing terms.
- Maintain a pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities.
- Market Research and Industry Trends:
- Stay informed about the industry, competition, and emerging technologies.
- Analyze market dynamics and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Attend industry conferences and networking events.
- Collaboration and Cross-Functional Work:
- Work closely with internal teams (product, sales, marketing, technical, and legal) to ensure alignment.
- Collaborate with channel partners and resellers to expand market reach.
- Participate in product development discussions to enhance DRaaS offerings.
- Reporting and Metrics:
- Track sales performance, pipeline, and conversion rates.
- Prepare regular reports for management.
- Continuously improve sales processes based on data insights.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 12 plus years of experience in a presales capacity with a strong emphasis on solutions engineering.
- Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in data protection or disaster recovery.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Understanding of disaster recovery concepts and technologies.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
