BDR Team Purpose

Vision: Diligently identify, meticulously qualify, and strategically quantify potential customers, fostering a limitless pipeline of opportunities.

Mission: Establish a premier Business Development Representative (BDR) team dedicated to creating, validating, and enhancing the qualification & upside pipeline.

Opportunity: We are currently seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) who embodies a dynamic, high-energy approach to driving sales growth through lead generation with a history of exceeding KPI targets. This individual should possess traits such as confidence, adaptability, and a fearless approach to outbound prospecting in a competitive market. Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound prospecting efforts to generate new leads and opportunities within target industries and verticals.
  • Qualify inbound leads with meticulous attention to detail and strategic focus on potential value.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to develop and execute targeted outreach campaigns aligned with the vision and mission.
  • Utilize CRM tools to manage leads, track activities, and report on pipeline metrics with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Assist in scheduling and coordinating meetings between prospects and Sales representatives to optimize pipeline efficiency.
  • Continuously learn about Relish solutions and industry trends to effectively articulate value propositions to prospects and align with the team's vision and mission.
  • Contribute to regularly updating messaging and developing scripts that anticipate questions.
  • Provide tailored solutions for prospects and clients, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and alignment with product updates and industry trends.

Qualifications, Education and Experience

Necessary and desirable qualifications include, but are not limited to, the following:

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a sales or business development role preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with enterprise software solutions or SaaS products, aligning with the strategic focus of the BDR team is considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously to achieve goals.
  • Comfortable working on a small team.
  • Can do, customer-first positive attitude.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills including oral and written communication.
  • An immense desire for relationship building.
  • Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial, fast paced, start-up environment, where problem solving, and self-initiative is required to be successful.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot, Salesforce, or other CRM software is a benefit.

Working Conditions

In this office-based role at Relish, we prioritize results and achievements over the physical location of work. While Relish operates as a remote company, this position will be situated in an office environment. We foster collaboration and accountability among team members, regardless of their physical location. Our work culture is adaptable, allowing employees to shape their work lives as needed to meet stakeholder expectations and achieve company goals effectively. There may be occasional weekend and evening work remotely.
