Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Sales Executive to join our dynamic team. With a focus on USA based customers this role involves executing our go-to-market strategy targeting private building owner/operators in the multi-unit residential, commercial, retail, and light-industrial sectors. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence and driving the adoption of our innovative software solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the General Manager of ClimateFirst and working with them to define and execute sales strategies, and be the lead on closing sales accounts.

  • Targeting Early Adopters: Engage with private building owner/operators mandated to report on ESG performance. Leads will be generated through a combination of your own efforts and direct outreach, as well as working with the Marketing team to leverage the results of their digital lead generation and brand exposure campaigns.
  • Strategic Selling: Navigate through target organizations by first connecting with ESG managers and subsequently engaging with fund managers responsible for portfolio P&L performance. You will be the quarterback on the account opportunity, pulling in technical experts and support resources as needed.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with ESG managers, serving as the primary entry point into target organizations.
  • Industry Engagement: Actively participate in industry committees, attend conferences, and engage in relevant events to enhance networking in the commercial real estate ESG space.
  • Sales Enablement: Provide guidance and feedback to the Marketing team on the development of sales materials that demonstrate how ClimateFirst bridges the gap between climate adaptation planning and practical business applications, including transaction due diligence and capital planning.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in the real estate sector.
  • Proven experience with SaaS sales.
  • Strong understanding of the commercial real estate market and ESG reporting frameworks.
  • Excellent networking skills with a track record in building relationships with senior executives.
  • Experience in working with CRM systems and sales enablement tools.
  • Experience at small firms or start-ups is considered an asset.

Compensation:

  • Salary: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00
  • Sales Commission
