We are seeking a highly motivated with documented track record Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a pay for performance role that will compensate you directly for your contribution. We are looking for someone who values personal customer service provided to their clients, and values truly how hard it is to bring clients to the table. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales and project management, with a proven documented track record of success in business development in the logistics business.
Duties
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through your own networking.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to transition and build your customer base.
- Manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closing deals.
- Work with management and operations to negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Collaborate with operations to align business development efforts with overall company goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to foster loyalty and repeat business.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients showcasing our products and services.
Experience
- Proven documented track record in business development or sales roles, with a strong understanding of the logistics industry.
- Demonstrated knowlege of Air, Ocean, Trucking and or Customs skills, with the ability to communicate with the customers in detail.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent follow through with customers on quotes and priority shipments.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
