Inside Advertising Sales and Customer Service Representative
The Beloit Daily News, located in Beloit, is actively seeking a dedicated, customer-focused, and organized Inside Advertising Sales Representative to join our team. This role encompasses both sales and customer service responsibilities, requiring an individual who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. As a sales professional, you will engage in prospecting, cold calling by phone, and closing deals for multimedia advertising programs targeting current, former, and new businesses.

Concurrently, your daily customer service duties will involve assisting walk-in clients, managing ad order entry, fostering client relationships through various communication channels, and maintaining digital records. This is a full-time position with a starting salary of $17/hour (37.5 hours/week) in addition to commission-based incentives. This position is full-time with daytime hours Monday through Friday.) This is an in-office position.

Job Summary
APG Southern Wisconsin, one of the top groups for Adams Publishing nationwide, is seeking a dynamic Customer Service/Account Manager. This salary plus commission role is located in Rock County, Wisconsin and is part of our office in Beloit, WI. With a base of $17/hour, this position could earn the right individual upwards of $25/hour and consists of a wide variety of products including digital, print, sponsorships, and events.

This is an inside sales position where you communicate via phone, email and text with your potential customers and discuss how best our products and services can help solve their business-related issues.

We have full service, fully owned traditional/digital advertising resources available to all who work with our clients along with a boat-load of experienced leaders to provide help, context and join you on calls.

If you have any sales experience in any business, are comfortable speaking with individuals, a good listener, spend time on social media, are proactive, and have the fire to succeed, we would love to speak with you.

Extra points if you have media sales background, digital product knowledge, and great closing skills.

Minimum Requirements:
We’re seeking a candidate with a drive to succeed, a positive attitude, a great work ethic, and strong computer skills.

Technology Skills:
Proficiency in Google Documents. Ability to learn new programs required.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
