As a Technical Sales Engineer of EXPRO Controls, you will have a robust line card that will highlight complementary process instrumentation and product lines. Our product lines provide the right solution to our customer’s process control and measurement needs.

The position is responsible for selling to and servicing companies in the process, and heavy commercial market segments (Biorefineries, Pharma, Food and Beverage, Chemical, Power Generation, Electrical and Mechanical Contractors, and Datacenters.)

EXPRO Controls will supply a company vehicle, phone, laptop, and everything else a well-seasoned or just beginning Technical Sales Engineer needs. Job Duties

As a Field Sales Representative at EXPRO Controls your primary focus will be building EXPRO Controls customer base in Iowa through our heat trace, leak detection, instrumentation, and valve lines. Actively building EXPRO Controls network through participation in trade shows and industry associations.

Knowledge/Skills Required

- A bachelor's degree in engineering or 3+ years of trade experience

- Direct sales experience preferred

- Well seasoned with industrial contacts preferred

- Open to learning from a seasoned professional in the Art and Science of Business Development and be a communicator and a grower both in the field and within our company

- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal skills for optimum communication between vendors and end user clients

- Must be a Self Starter who can, actively locate/discover, evaluate, and pursue opportunities to generate business with new and existing customers

- Must work well in a collaborative environment

- Must be able to develop and maintain relationships at a professional level

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to details

- Professionalism, discretion, and excellent judgement in all interactions

- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner and gather and analyze information

- Moderate travel will be required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
