Job Description
Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Inside Sales Specialist, Early Childhood Education Programs is responsible for selling Learning Jungle early childcare educational programs and services to Families and Parents. The role will collaborate with both external and internal stakeholders with the goal of achieving our targets.
The ideal candidate will have sales and customer service experience and be comfortable with speaking with people either over the phone or in person within a sales capacity. This is a predominantly inbound role with warm leads, however, there are opportunities for external and public-facing events. We are looking for a personable, client-oriented, hard-working team player who is driven to close deals while providing excellent service.
Please note: This is a hybrid role, requiring working from one of our centers for 2 days, and working from home the remaining 3 days.

Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to sales plan and meet sales targets and other KPIs
- Be knowledgeable and be up to date with all childcare educational programs and services offered by Learning Jungle including but not limited to childcare fees, community-related resources, parent guidelines, center operations policies and processes.
- Deliver a consistent message that supports the Learning Jungle brand promise in welcoming, communicating and responding to all parents/families/ customers.
- Provide troubleshooting assistance for customer orders, account statuses and relevant problems
- Provide data and guides to help the Centre Supervisors
- Monitor performance indicators
- Manage sales tracking tools and report on important information
- Keep record of sales trends
- Liaise with marketing and operations to develop specific sales strategies
- Suggest sales process improvements
- Review pending engagements and provide excellent and personalized service to parents/families in developing and retaining customer accounts while also maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
- Handle inbound, unsolicited calls and convert them into sales
- Coordinate with Centre Supervisors with regards to sales leads, parent/family/customer profile; parent tour arrangements, program fees, etc.
- Follow up with waitlisted and existing parents and/or prospective families via telephone and email to follow through on facility tours, enrollment, selling, cross-sell, and up-sell programs
- Build and foster a network of referrals to create new opportunities for revenue growth including developing new parent accounts to increase revenue by warm and cold calling
- Maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity in consistently portraying Learning Jungle in a positive manner
- Use generated sales and marketing data and apply sales management software (Salesforce) to maximize sales efficiency and effectiveness
Qualifications
- 1-3 years experience required within the field
- Familiarity/Knowledgeable in childcare industry is an asset but not necessary.
- Knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques
- Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills in English. Spanish speaking is an asset but not required.
- Professional phone manners, selling style and ability to build rapport, provide excellent service and maintain lasting client relationships with families and parents
- Proficiency in using Salesforce, MS Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to be successful in a dynamic, flexible, and continually changing environment
- Able to work independently.
- Result focused self-starter who can work well in a team
