We are looking for a hardworking professional to join our dynamic team in British Columbia. This is a career opportunity for a residential mortgage professional to make their mark for a rapidly growing alternative mortgage lender within British Columbia. We are looking for someone who is entrepreneurial in nature, self-motivated and thrives in an independent environment.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities while cultivating and building existing relationships within the network of our key brokerage accounts.
  • Work and maintain an accurate and current database of national firms, mortgage brokerages and brokers via Salesforce.
  • Run a comprehensive outbound call program where you connect with brokers, explore business opportunities and build strong relationships that result in lead generation and funded mortgage business.
  • Deliver persuasive, group and one-on-one presentations to brokerages and brokers that clearly articulate the benefits of the Vault “Near B” mortgages, our position in the marketplace and overall value proposition.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with broker owners, brokers, and other key stakeholders from within the mortgage broker community.
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform business strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including underwriting, mortgage fulfillment, and operations to ensure seamless execution of mortgage transactions.
  • Work closely with management team to design, track and gauge the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns.
  • Attend industry and brokerage functions as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

**ONLY APPLICANTS WITH A VALID B.C. MORTGAGE BROKER LICENSE NEED APPLY**

  • Must be a licensed Mortgage Broker or sub-mortgage - can be acquired before commencing employment.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar broker-channel role within any of the following: credit union, MIC, brokerage, bank, or private lender.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial self-starter.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Personality of being a hunter, connector, and relationship builder.
  • Strong English skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong Mandarin skills , both written and oral a strong asset

COMPENSATION

The successful candidate will be financially motivated by the lucrative compensation structure via a competitive base salary with an uncapped commission structure.
