Job Description Summary
The FanThreeSixty Senior Account Executive is responsible for building business by identifying and selling to prospects and maintaining relationships with clients. In addition, the Senior Account Executive manages sales of the company’s services and ensures consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through sales planning, strategy implementation and execution. This Senior Account Executive role will be responsible for helping grow our athletics market footprint.
Job Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Responsible for expanding FanThreeSixty’s solutions market share in the sports industry.
  • Create business opportunities by identifying, making contact, and developing relationships with clients.
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound calls and emails.
  • Establish and maintain market differentiation plans based on analyzing market demands, key indicators, competitors and changing trends.
  • Work with leaders in the organization to develop sales campaigns and nurture prospects throughout the sales process.
  • Assess clients’ needs and provide assistance and information on solution capabilities and achievable results.
  • Manage market opportunities in sports to maximize sales revenues and meet individual quotas.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop sales and marketing strategies to improve market share.
  • Work closely with internal FTS Marketing Team stakeholders to develop and maintain market-specific campaigns that focus on the key objectives or needs of the prospects/clients.
  • Work closely with Sales & Engineering leadership to identify important solution development features or capabilities to help capture larger market share.
  • Perform sales activities on accounts and negotiate agreements with consultation from leadership.
  • Coordinate proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results.
  • Assist in developing field sales action plans and programs to improve sales conversions, decrease sales cycles, and grow sales volumes and quotas.
  • Develop and increase your sales network and contacts to reach key client decision-makers.
  • Grow and maintain technical solution knowledge by reviewing publications, attending trade shows, and analyzing market solutions.
  • Present to prospects' senior leadership teams in person or virtually to close deals.
  • Create scopes of work and work with client service teams to support successful client onboarding.
  • Work with Sales Engineers and Sales leaders to close new business opportunities.
  • Achieve quarterly market quotas for new business, bookings, and recurring revenues.
  • Research prospects business, identify key stakeholders, define solution needs, create benefits analysis to become an expert on prospects business.
  • Track prospect information and sales lifecycle steps in CRM.
  • When appropriate, perform effective online demos to prospects in coordination with sales operations.
  • Be a market expert and trusted partner in fan data and engagement solutions.
  • Ensure to consistently provide remarkable customer service and share product knowledge.
  • Attend regular meetings with the sales and leadership teams.
  • Travel regularly to meet with prospects and stakeholders.
  • Represent FanThreeSixty in a professional manner at all times.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned.

  • Maintain and expand the database of prospects within the defined market.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • 5+ years of experience in sales with a proven track record of success.
  • Must be a successful self-contributor capable of leading strategic sales opportunities.
  • Successful previous track record with similar software / SaaS organizations or working for sales teams in sports.
  • Saas sales background preferred.
  • 3+ Experience finding and qualifying complex enterprise SaaS opportunities.
  • 3+ Experience selling services to the “C-Suite” of clients and guiding clients through the purchasing process.
  • Ability to assess customer business needs and relationships with qualitative and quantitative approaches.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal business units and 3rd party Channel Partners
  • Track record of over-achieving quota.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or other related field required, Master’s degree preferred.
  • Five (5) years of professional sales experience in selling solutions.
  • Experience in sales principles and customer service practices.
  • Demonstrated proficiency and application of effective sales planning, selling strategies and techniques, as well as a proven track record of over-achieving sales quota.
  • Strong relationships and contacts within the sports industry, as well as awareness of sports industry development and technological advancements.
  • Basic technical background or knowledge preferred.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Calendar.
