Commercial Credit Manager (On-Site Orlando)

We are looking for an experienced commercial credit analyst to manage, directs, and coordinates the activities of the commercial credit team. This role actively participates in credit discussions and exercises credit authority and approval. The position is located at our downtown Orlando office, ideal candidates will have 8+ years of commercial credit underwriting experience with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory capacity. Compensation starts at $93,000.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manages the Commercial Loan Underwriting function and coordinates, in‐conjunction with underwriting, the loan approval process to include coordination of the Business Loan Committee as necessary. Participates in credit discussions and exercises credit authority and approval of loans and annual reviews.
• Supervises the development and monitoring of goal and objectives performance standards for the Credit Analysts. Designs and develops a training plan for each direct report and implements, to include motivation and support.
• Assigns workload and reviews approval/credit packages, seeks out early warning signs of deteriorating credit trends and alerts management as needed. Makes ongoing assessments relative to credit risk ratings.
• Provides ongoing recommendations and support to the Business Analyst pertaining to credit memo design, policy and procedure implementation, and the overall underwriting workflow within the Business Services Loan Operating System.
• Engages with loan officers to ensure credit file information is current and adequate for underwriting. Assigns underwriting workflow, and underwrites Commercial loans as needed.
• Train new team members on commercial underwriting procedures, policies, and systems, ensuring a smooth onboarding process. Identify areas for process improvement to enhance member experience and optimize resource allocation.
• Supports creating opportunities for expanding the existing business relationship by determining additional product
  and services for both the member’s personal and business needs.
• Actively participates as a member of Officer Loan Committee.

Education/Experience Needed:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 8 years commercial credit underwriting/analyst experience
• 2+ years leading a team of underwriters/analysts
• Must be based in the Central Florida area as this position is on-site/hybrid
