We’re adding a Full-Time, Permanent, Director of Sales to our growing team at HearCANADA. The candidate will ideally be able to join us at our Burlington office up to 3 days per week, while working from home and traveling to sites as required.

Reporting into the VP of Operations and Sales, The Director of Sales is responsible for all aspects of sales and execution of the organization’s business strategy within our geographic territories which span from coast-to-coast. You are accountable to lead, train, and coach of team of results-oriented Divisional Sales Directors in achieving sales budgets, ensuring compliance with the HearCANADA operation model, and driving per person productivity expectations within the territory.

What you will do:

  • Work closely with our Divisional teams to achieve financial and operational goals for each clinic in the regions. This includes the adoption, development, collaboration, and alignment with other counterparts across HearCANADA
  • Identify and ensure proactive remedial actions are identified, communicated, and implemented to rectify variance to budget situations
  • Motivate and inspire cross-functional teams that work closely with leaders to successfully plan and execute market growth
  • Validate staff performance to provide guidance to RM’s for further actions for staff development, performance management and recognition
  • Provide performance feedback to Divisional Sales Directors and foster their leadership, people management and sales development skills
  • Ensure all agreed upon local marketing strategies and tactics are actively being implemented and pursued in conjunction with the marketing team. Ensure local teams are actively engaging in local marketing and community outreach to drive sales opportunities

What we are looking for:

  • Post-secondary education; For example, Business Administration, Audiology, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of sales/operations management experience with a demonstrable "leading leaders" skillset (ability to motivate, resolve conflicts, coaching, etc)
  • Knowledgeable of business and financial concepts: Present a thorough understanding and reporting of issues, performance results, opportunities, and challenges
  • Communication skills: ability to clearly communicate and articulate key ideas and concepts with people at all levels of the business
  • Ability to interpret financial statements, operations reports, retail KPIs, etc.
  • Ability to travel throughout Canada – up to 50% of the time
